the knotts
recently, i had the complete honor of taking pictures of a dear friend and mentor of mine during the happiest time of her life. this gorgeous woman, known to me as mrs.knott, was my 6-8th grade bible/history teacher. this woman taught my class more than we had ever learned from any teacher, laughed with us, rapped with us, and even brought our class to tears. when she asked me to take her maternity pictures, i was beyond honored to capture this time in her life!! little sedona will be entering the world soon, and i’m SO excited to see her grow up with such an amazing family.
oh that serious face. i screamed quiet loud when she did that, i hadn’t seen it since the middle school days!
and even better, her amazing laugh after my scream!

What beautiful pictures of a beautiful family-to-be. I remember this lovely teacher and how much you loved and admired her. You did a wonderful job of capturing this time in her life.
Love you, Grandma.
little laur!! i LOVE these!!! beautiful :) welcome to the world little sedona!! eeee!!
My Dear Lauren,
I just wanted to let you know that we (Brandon, Sedona, and I) could not be more pleased with this photo shoot! Our favorites are already framed and hung in Sedona’s nursery.
Colossians 1:9-10: “And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.”
I have been so blessed to witness you cultivate this God-given talent in photography and seek earnestly to use it for His glory. I am so very proud of you!
With all my love,
Mrs. Knott
